TOEIC Program

Program's Information

The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is an English language test designed specifically to measure the everyday English skills of people working in international business or planning to use English to communicate with others.

This TOEIC Preparatory program HELP is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in English and test taking skills for TOEIC by utilizing up-to-date materials. Students not only practice the test materials but also learn real English in simulated situations which make the program a little bit ESL Flavored.


Program's Level

TOEIC Beginner

Student can correspond to basic users of the language, i.e. those able to communicate in everyday situations with commonly-used expressions and elementary vocabulary.

  • The student can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
  • The student can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
  • The student can describe in simple terms/aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

Required score: TOEIC 300 or pass the speaking test with teacher.

Target score: TOEIC 499

TOEIC Intermediate

Student can correspond to independent users of the language, i.e. those who have the necessary fluency to communicate with some effort with foreigners.

  • The student can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
  • The student can deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in an area where the language is spoken.
  • The student can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.
  • The student can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions, and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

Required score: TOEIC 500 or pass the speaking and writing test with teacher.

Target score: TOEIC 699

TOEIC Advanced

Student can correspond to proficient users of the language, i.e. those able to perform complex tasks related to work and study..

  • The student can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization.
  • The student can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
  • The student can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
