Available at both HELP Clark Campus and HELP Baguio Campus, our IELTS course includes four daily 1:1 classes focused on Speaking and Writing, along with group classes and practice Mock Tests every two weeks.

  • IELTS Beginner (Start: IELTS 3.0 | Goal: IELTS 4.5): Focuses on building basic vocabulary, grammar rules, understanding test types, and developing basic skills.
  • IELTS Intermediate (Start: IELTS 4.5 | Goal: IELTS 5.5): Focuses on learning academic vocabulary, practicing test strategies, structuring paragraphs, and speaking more smoothly.

  • Absolute Beginners: If your starting score is below IELTS 3.0, we recommend studying for 4 to 8 weeks in our General ESL Program before starting the IELTS course.

Intake Schedule & Planning

  • Start Dates: New IELTS classes start every Monday. Please check our Academic Calendar to plan your study around official test dates.
  • Recommended Study Time: Although you can enroll for just 4 weeks, we recommend staying for 8 to 12 weeks to raise your score by 1.0 to 1.5+ points.

1. Does the IELTS program at HELP offer a guaranteed score?

Yes. HELP offers an IELTS Guarantee program for goal scores of 5.5, 6.0, 6.5, and 7.0. Students who follow our class attendance and behavior rules can study for free if they do not reach their goal score.

2. Is the Sparta model too stressful for IELTS students?

Our Sparta model does not allow students to go out during weekdays so they can focus on studying. However, you can relax and travel on weekends. This regular schedule helps students improve their scores in a short time.

3. Can complete beginners join the IELTS course directly?

If your level is very basic (below IELTS 3.0), we recommend studying General ESL for 4 to 8 weeks to build basic grammar and vocabulary first.

4. What is the difference between studying IELTS in Clark and Baguio?

The lessons and study plans are the same. HELP Clark has an official IDP testing center on campus and warm weather near the airport. HELP Baguio has a cool mountain climate that is great for quiet study.

5. Which skills do the 1:1 classes focus on?

The four 1:1 classes focus on Speaking (2 classes) and Writing (2 classes). These skills need personal help and feedback from a teacher to improve quickly.

6. What are the qualifications of the IELTS teachers at HELP?

7. How are the practice Mock Tests done?

Full practice tests for all 4 skills are held on Friday evenings every two weeks (for Intermediate and Advanced levels) or once a month (for Beginners) to help you get used to real test conditions.

You can review basic grammar and common academic words. It is also good to prepare yourself for a busy daily schedule with 10 to 11 classes and study periods.
