Program's Information
IELTS is an internationally recognized English proficiency test developed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, the British Council and IDP (IELTS Australia).
For those who consider working or studying abroad, the IELTS test is one of the most challenging and valuable feats. At HELP, student can practice and take the test in the same place to boost score as our campus is an official Venue for the IDP IELTS test.
The majority of HELP teachers have undergone intensive training in IELTS and scored above 8.0 on the test. Moreover, results have shown that HELP students get an average score of 6.5 to 7.0 in the duration of 3 months due to the fact that they take mock test on a weekly basis and study with our IELTS expert teachers
Program's Level
IELTS Beginner
Student can correspond to basic users of the language, i.e. those able to communicate in everyday situations with commonly-used expressions and elementary vocabulary.
- The student can understand sentences and frequently-used expressions related to the areas of experience most immediately relevant to him/her (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, places of interest, employment, etc.)..
- The student can communicate in simple, everyday tasks requiring no more than a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
- The student can describe, in simple terms, aspects of his/her past, environment and matters related to his/her immediate needs.
Required Score: IELTS 3.0 or pass the speaking test with teachers.
Target Score: IELTS 4.5
IELTS Intermediate
Student can correspond to independent users of the language, i.e. those who have the necessary fluency to communicate with some effort with foreigners.
- The student can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialization.
- The student can interact with a certain degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes interaction with foreigners quite possible, although with some strain on both parties.
- The student can produce clear, detailed text on a range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
Required Score: IELTS 4.5 or pass the speaking & writing test with teachers.
Target Score: IELTS 6.0
IELTS Advanced
Student can correspond to proficient users of the language, i.e. those able to perform complex tasks related to work and study..
- The student can understand a wide range of more demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning in them
- The student can express him/herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for the right expression.
- The student can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. He/she can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing correct use of organizational patterns.
Required Score: IELTS 6.0
Target Score: IELTS 7.0+
