Quality teaching and student learning are tightly interconnected and preparation for teachers is an integral part of this interrelation. The quality of learning that HELP offers our students is always at the highest standard not only because we have seasoned and well trained teachers but we also ensure that the institution is providing the best possible service as our educators undergo a monthly intensive training and mock test to maintain quality education.
Engaging professional development can foster dynamic changes for a teacher; hence, the school routinely observes and evaluates the teachers’ class performance to make sure that they are always efficient and reliable when it comes to teaching. One of the most effective ways to identify areas for improvement and to create a plan for the teachers to improve in those areas is implementing a mock test.
Supplementing this concept, a total of 124 teachers in HELP took the IELTS mock test last July 27, 2019. The 4-hour examination started at 8 AM and concluded at 12 NN. It incorporated the 3 macro skills of reading, listening, and writing; as each skill development aims to optimize teaching effectiveness.
HELP is doing all that we can to provide our teachers with the best resources and provide professional development. Thus, we engage them in ongoing, dynamic training and conducting mock tests to supplement continuous growth and improvement which is essential for all our teachers and even more valuable for those who have gaps that need to be closed. In this vision, teachers of HELP are acquainted with professional development and for the maintenance of the teaching profession.
