After Immigration

After you finish immigration, check your passport for the immigration stamp.

  • Students from the following countries will get a free 30-day visa on arrival: Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Spain, Mongolia, Colombia, and Saudi Arabia.
  • Make sure your passport has the stamp with the correct arrival date. For example, if your passport shows April 30, 2024, you can stay until May 30, 2024. If the stamp is missing or the date is wrong, tell an immigration officer right away.
  • Get your luggage and personal belongings.
  • Exchange at least 100 USD (about 5,700 pesos) so you have enough money for your trip to school and any extra expenses like food or phone bills.
