The school provides Wi-Fi in the dormitories and common areas (Lounge). The speed is sufficient for research and video calling. However, as the Philippines is an island nation, international connections can sometimes be less stable than in other regions during peak hours.
2. Is the food at the academy suitable for each nation's tastes?
The kitchen serves buffet-style meals with a menu that changes daily, including Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Filipino dishes. Hot soup and kimchi are always available. We constantly listen to student feedback to adjust seasonings accordingly.
3. How do the laundry and housekeeping services work?
They are completely free of charge. Housekeeping service is provided 2-3 times a week. Laundry service has a specific schedule for each floor (separate schedules for male and female students). Students only need to drop off their laundry at the designated area.
4. Can I register for the official IELTS exam at the school?
Yes. HELP Clark is an authorized IDP test center. This is a massive advantage that allows you to take the exam on "home turf," eliminating any unfamiliarity with the venue.
5. How does the school assist me if I get sick?
The school features an on-site clinic with a duty nurse. For cases requiring a specialist, student managers will accompany you to major nearby hospitals (such as The Medical City Clark), which are only 5-10 minutes away.
6. Is the E.O.P (English Only Policy) strictly enforced?
Very strictly. Between 07:00 and 18:00, the management team conducts regular patrols. A first violation will result in a warning or deduction of points, while repeated offenses will lead to a fine (which goes into the student farewell party fund).
7. Are students allowed to travel on weekends?
Yes, you are allowed to travel overnight on Saturdays and Sundays (except during your first week). You must fill out a "Travel Form" so the school can keep track of your plans and ensure your safety.
8. How are utility (electricity and water) costs calculated?
These costs are not included in the tuition fee. Each room has its own sub-meter, and the actual usage costs are divided equally among the roommates. On average, it costs about 1,500 to 2,000 Pesos per person per 4 weeks.
